I wanted a bushcraft knife that was impossible to loose in the woods or anywhere for that matter so this is what I made. It started with a Large Woody blank from FGYT and has red liners and brass tubes with my own micarta made from hivis vests from work.

The finished article, just need to make a grey kydex sheath for it now.

When I saw the first couple of pics I didnt think I would like the high viz look but that changed very rapidly . That looks excellent mate good job.

What glue did you use??

That is absolutely fantastic ,it will certainly do the job it was made for (not getting lost ).what resin did you use to lay up the vest material?
 
I'm not sure what make it was, it was a fiver in halfords and it comes in a yellow can and the hardener was 2 quid I thnk. I didn't really know what I was doing, just winged it. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I've got plenty of resin left so I am going to make another wacky one I think. Maybe purple and yellow next time or tartan!
