I made a 3 of these as well in the the last 2 weeks, as gifts.
Couldn't resists taking one of them for a spin, and I really liked the bladed design.
It cuts like a mad axe man

Here is mine, finished today. Birch burl treated with danish oil:

Nice knife! What grit did you finish it? I stopped at 700

I used 240 and 400 grit papers. Last (4th) coating of Danish Oil I rubbed with 000-steel wool which polishes wood a bit more.

Between sandings I wet and dried the handle to get fibers rise up.

I left handle little rough by purpose since knife will be hard user where good grip is essential not shiny drawer queen.
