My attempt at something new

Hi all was a bit bored the other day and thought I would try summat new, so I made this

Used antler for bits and bobs knife handles fire steels etc but never carved the stuff before
really enjoyed making this. just I must wear a mask next time the dust don't half screw yer chest up:yikes:

Woohoo its there. Nice bit of carving. Apparently you should always wear a mask with antler etc as it stays in the lungs, building up, for years

That is nice work. I've carved bone before and the dust is dreadful stuff. What tools did you use?

Cheers Got to be honest started with my knife and a file but was getting nowhere so cheated a bit and did the largest removal with a dremel
but did all the finishing with sandpaper and needle files
