This was more work than I expected fileing down 5mm of 01 steel on a 10" blade takes ages with no power tools.

Im not a big fan of large knives but this was a request from a friend and hes a big chap 😊

Next job is making my first sheath

Now that's just brilliant for a 2nd attempt, or any attempt!

Looks Nessmuck style, I like it! Although I'm not a big knife person either ;).

I love it. Little stocky Bolo machete, the size of a short Golok. Looks a bit like a Lofty Wiseman knife. Really like this. You make me want to try more knives. If I could get to your standard, I'd be very happy.

Great looking knife and fine craftsmanship! I've a good idea how much hard work has gone into it as I use the same method for my own knives so very well done!!

Just missing a makers mark. It's easily done and gives that finishing touch!

I did do a makers mark but screwed it up and had to sand it out fortunatly it wasnt eched deep before I realised

Yeah, been there done that! Annoying aint it! I tried to engrave a knife with a dremel a few years ago......Bad move!!:(
