resisting....

Nope, can't help it. did you go round the bush at all?

anyhoo, intermanet sources list white mulberries as summer fruits, they're white pink or purple where black mulberries are late summer early autumn and have purple and red fruits. also they look pretty knarly!

this seems a good link for it - http://www.how-to-grow.co.uk/how-to-grow-soft-fruits-mulberries.htm

I have found a mullberry tree!
When are the berries ripe and what can I do with them?

When you can shake them off the tree.

Eat them as they come, they're delicious! You can make jam with them, but it's a bit of a waste. You also can't transport them any distance, because they become a squashy mush.

(The above applies to black mullberries.)

Catch them on a blanket.

I like Bob Flowerdews recipe.

You will need:

1 pot of tea
One cup,
One suacer
One jug of milk
one plate of biscuits
One blanket

Spread blanket under tree.
Rest back against trunk
Consume tea and biscuits
Periodically look into bowl
When sufficient mulberries have fallen into bowl, eat ice cream

Red :)
