oh and i got a nato og thermal fleece liner for £4 in great nick!. funny thing is, it was hissing down and everyone was packing up (0800) and i thought 'naa, nothing today then'!

Nice find. 
Not sure how good a tip this is but sometimes when people are packing up, especially at the massive boot sale near us they dump there stuff near the bins as they cannot be bothered taking it back home. Not seen anything interesting yet, but did see some bloke find a few torches and useful bits and bobs.
Im kicking myself though as the other week I saw a parrifin hurricane lantern but never picked it up, when I went back later it was already gone.

ahh the times ive done that thinking, 'it'll be fine, nobody else will want that yet'!
