I've got on of these Miniworks. I've had (and used!) it for years and it's been very good. If it's got red plastic instead of blue, it's one of the newer ones which use an air bubble to keep pumping water through the filter on both strokes. I've got a connector for mine so it pumps the water straight into my Camelbakthrough the hydration tube.

They're £80 new so you should get a nice swap for it.
