Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
Its coming to that time of year again, Movember time.

Rather then trying to say it myself I will let them say it.

Movember said:
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

On Movember 1st, guys register at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face and then for the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.

Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November and through their actions and words raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

At the end of the month, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas celebrate their gallantry and valor by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the infamous Gala Partés held around the world by Movember, for Movember.

So its not hard to do just grow a mustache and get sponsorship for it. Those with mustaches already if you don't want to shave it off and start again sponsor some one is growing one.

I will post a pic of myself on Movember 1st, nice and clean shaven and then another one at the end of Movember so you can some my attempt at growing a tache.
I recommend anyone else partaking in this to do the same.

I tried it last year and nearly managed 5 o clock shadows worth on my top lip for a month :lmao: thinking of growing a pathetic attempt of a beard from October then shaving it and leaving the tash for November and see if a months head start will produce something worthwhile :D

Doesn't work for me ...and HWMBLT has had a full beard for over forty years, so that's a forlorn chance too.

I'll see about pestering Son1 or Son2 and seeing if they're for giving it a go, however :D

atb,
Toddy

The most I have ever managed in my 38 years is three weeks without a shave. I can't stand the itchy, fuzzy feeling and I mean it drives me absolutely bonkers after about week number two!

Does this itchiness ever subside??

Steve.
