Mossie Net

I know it's late in the year for talking of Mossie nets, but was sorting my kit out this evening, got a fag hanging from my mouth and as i picked the net up it touched the end and hey presto, boody great hole smack in the middle of the net

Now im looking for a new net for use with a paradise hammock (http://www.paradisehammocks.co.uk/c...id=81&osCsid=3cc6fa4a84d2e9236428c7ebb2fd2b4b) and my tarp (Kathmandi 3m x 2.5m), the paradise hammock is quite long and the old net wasn't a very good fit to be honest, question is where can i get a long ridge mounted mossie net from, ive tried a couple of places but no joy.

Can't you stitch a repair patch over the hole? even if you don't use mossi netting, it will at least make it useable again?

Reduce, reuse and recycle and all that.

There is always the woodlore net. A little too expensive for me.

You could adapt a traditional mossi net (used for general purposes) and attatch zips, velcro etc to your own adaptation.

My favourite is the hammock bliss mossi net.

I have yet to purchase one to make a fair comment on it, but I like the idea. Just dye it green or black and should be bang on.

Good idea and one that i thought of doing, but the thing is seriously tatty, the netting will be used in the greenhouse now to protect next years tomatoes.

I was going to ask a similar question for the hammocks I got on the group buy.
Any ideas on ready mades or just the material?

I have no idea on the quality of the netting. I suppose a quick email to the company would clear it up.

The price is below the picture : $ 38.95 but then there is the P+P on top of that.

I still think it is one of the best options I have seen....

Well the obvious thing here then is to buy the netting material and make a copy of the m-m-mears net - which is after all designed for use with hammocks ???
