Does this book have projects like the try stick and how to's for lashing poles together for shelter etc?

Its on its way, I'd just like to know

Nope it doesn't have things like the try-stick or the super shelter but it has pretty much identical projects in different contexts...It is by far the best Bushcraft/Wilderness living skills book that I have ever read, I would highly recommend it!

Outdoor Survival Handbook; Ray Mears.

I'd add Survival Advantage to the list. Deals purely with survival techniques for Northwest Europe so very specific to the UK and surrounding areas

It's a great book, my favourite. Lots of stuff on felling big trees, which isn't that applicable in most of European bushcrafting, but full of other good stuff.
