Just found some cracking torches in my local lidl!
they have a lovely small square flourescent tube that takes only 2 AA batterys! - it is an OSRAM and is apparently 3W! - they are approx 90mm x 65mm x 20mm and came in a few dif colours (the case that is not the illumination!
) according to the p[ackageing it is 118g and is the equavelent of a 15W lightbulb - from 2 AA batterys! 
can't see it on their online catalogue so can't post a pic!

- if anyone is interested in one and can't get to a Lidl -drop me a PM and i'll pop back and see if they still have some, will then just cost you 3.99 + the postage
