I have a frosts mora (army one, not clipper). I want to get a stainless steel mora but am a bit unsure of which one. I am thinking of either the clipper or this

I would like something that fits nicely onto a belt as well as on the neck or a button.

Is the clipper any good as a neck sheath or does the clip bit stick out too much?

Anyone have any experience with that second knife (pictured)?

Any other useful info?

Id go for the clipper personally, do you not like the carbon steel version. Or do you just prefer stainless?

I like the clipper, but I don't like the sheath. Buy it and do yourself a sheath to whatever style you like. I also like the stainless blades, for what I do they have the edge over the carbon and hold a good edge.

I bought my Lad a clipper to use at the moot this year and for its pennies I don't think you can fault it. As for a neck carry we braided up a bit of para cord and made a baldric which worked a treat.
I agree with Dougster about the sheath but Andrew really liked the versitility of being able to clip it on his belt, poket, baldric, basha guy, and ruck sac.
Horses for courses I think, but it's a really good hardwearing wee knife at great price.
Cheers Tim

Wow, really quick replies. Thank you.

The knife I already have is a carbon mora. I have made a leather sheath for it. I like it a lot but I am looking for a stainless knife to keep with its sheath for more versatile use.

I am looking for some versatility from the sheath so the clipper sounds good. In particular I will use the knife for 2 main things

- House, garden, walking in woods. Clipper style sounds great.

- Hillwalking/camping. Ability to put discretely around neck with rucksck on essential. So if the sheath clip doesnt stick out too much, a clipper sounds great.

Many thanks so far
