Popped over to Camp Nobby to dick about with my nippers and to test out my new Solo Stove knock off, added a bit more camofauge to the shelter as well. Really impressed with the chinese copy especially as it was cheap as chips. Minted lamb burgers and sausages later and the rugrats were packed up and on the way home.

Camp Nobby is starting to take shape and as soon as the ground dries out a bit we will put some more time into it.

Loaded with really dry thin pine so only getting 10 mins. Know for next time. Cracking bit of kit tho, gonna make a few

Great thanks, I'm getting myself one of these for sure. I've been struggling with a tiny honey stove for a long time now that's a nightmare to get wood into and I think its time to 'upgrade'. Your videos are fun btw ;-)

Thanks, I use the vids as a way to get my kids away from the screens. They think they are making Youtube vids when in reality they are camping with thier old man. You should make yourself a fancy feast stove, they are excellent.

That sounds like a thing I need to make. How do I do it?

Easiest thing ever. I've attached a link, I use insulation rather than carbon felt and it works fine. If you dont want to make one I'm doing a giveaway on youtube at the mo where I'm giving away a fancy feast, white box type and a penny stove you are welcome to enter the draw.

That is really a cool thing and very easy to make. What type of insulation do you use? I'm not sure I can find the carbon felt in the DIY shop but I'll have a look.

Fibre glass/ rockwall. The stuff in your roof.

Got a similar stove myself, and it fits perfectly into a 775ml MSR Alpine stowaway pot....
