Is anyone familiar with an army thermal groundsheet? Came across this on ebay but I've not heard of them before, are they silver lined on one side or something?

It just looks like a cheap poly tarp to me but the price got me wondering

Looks to me maybe more like a bigger heavyweight tarp/groundsheet as (hardly ever) used with scout patrol tents such as "Icelandics", expensive but last for ever if looked after

Going by the picture, I'd agree with Peter H. It looks like a ringer for my Icelandic G/S (except its a different size & shape). If it is the same HD reinforced PVC material, it's not expensive at 53 quid; it's a bargain!
