I am sure all you experts out there probably have seen this site before but I have just come across it whilst trying to figure out different configurations for my new hammock and tarp setup and have found it to be very useful.

There is stuff on how setup configs:
http://www.tothewoods.net/HammockCampingDry.html

How to keep warm (underblankets, plus lots of custom mods):
http://www.tothewoods.net/HammockCampingWarm.html

As well as lots of other pretty cool information. The main website is simply:
http://www.tothewoods.net/JeffsHikingPage.html

Anyway this has helped me so hope it does someone else also!

Best,

Hey theres some super links there.

Ive always put my hammock away for the winter, but then ive never tried these underblankets (til i came on this site, id never even seen them!) so simply been put off by how cold i got using conventional sleeping bags.

Im kinda set in my ways, reluctant to leave whats tried and tested. but since being poorly, ive embraced computers for the first time, and learnt so much new stuff, me heads boiling over. Now im pondering as to whether i should perhaps embrace the sewing machine with equal vigour. :)
