Metal question

Quick question.

I've got a broken prop shaft off a machine. Is it any good for blades?

Might be a bit thin, assuming it's a hollow one. Otherwise, might be difficult to get to shape - try it and see!

Its a solid 50mm thick and at least 2' long hardend steel.
