no celebration for me, just having a quiet evening with a certain adorable young lady with big floppy ears -- our party was already 3days ago to celebrate her first birthday with chicken soup for both of us and a juicy bone for my little girl...

Happy Christmas and a healthy happy New Year to all of you from Helene and me. We’re just back from a lovely walk to the pub on a glorious clear, sunny and very still day here in West Somerset that makes us glad to be alive. The Christmas lunch is well on its way and we’re sitting here looking at the view over to the Wellington monument supping cider toddy. Life doesn’t get much better!
