For sale is this Merkur Progress Long razor.
In absolutely mint condition, unboxed, it was only used a couple of times before I got a similar Mergress razor so this one is spare. The marker dot has been coloured with Volkswagen/Audi Red Spice metallic paint then clear lacquered. A super addition - makes it easy to read!
For those new to razors, this is an adjustable safety razor. This means that it can be set, by turning the bottom knob, to adjust the blade cutting strength from mild to aggressive. My own shaves are set at 5 and 3. Although some people prefer it milder at 4 and 2. Others just keep it at one setting, say a 2 or 3. But it is best to experiment for yourself and I would advice starting with a 2 and working up to see where you find the best shave.
