Mercedes G-Wagon advice needed

I'm thinking of buying a G-Wagon to replace my aging vehicles, a Hilux and a Defender. What are the pros and cons of the Bread Van and what should I look out for when buying?

I have one for sale! this is the second I have had!

Engines and gearboxes seem to be rock solid, chassis are pretty bombproof, things to look out for are more suspension/steering and body related!

Suspension and steering items are easily fixed, just replacement parts from my experince, body related faults are corrosion and water leaks, usually dead easy to find as they will be glaring obvious!

Pros.....serious off road ability and I mean serious, not just turning round in a muddy field or climbing an old pit stack. Cons.....if a differential fails.....will cost the earth....even from a breaker.
