it was suggested I introduce myself formally as a new 'user' (of BCUK naturally). A v. short self-indulgent resume: Ex-forces- then lived and worked and travelled in Africa - then lived and worked and travelled in Middle East - travelled some more all over - now an archaeologist with some skill in primitive technology, archery and flintknapping - big into outdoors, long distance treks and cycle expeds - own sewing machine.

I look forward to sharing ideas, opinions and experiences with y'all.
