Maple spoon

I finished making a short film of how I carve a spoon, It is made from silver Maple with a little Kolrosing added for decoration, it is then finished with Flax seed oil.

May I as a question? What do you rub on the pattern in the end to colour it? also, will this change once you oil it?

I'm getting on well with them, I love the knife might have to re grind it though get rid of the secondary bevel.

I used coffee to rub into the cuts, the oil sets it you can use a few things though including powdered bark.
