Man flu ,cleaning up a blade

I started to make this knife last xmas, a copy of Dave Canterbury PSK1 with a mate who wanted to make a woody. This is my copy of the psk1 by the real one, i made the handle a bit wider by the first handle bolt.
The knife stayed like this for a couple of months .

My knife blade stayed like this for months (as pic) until the other day being struck down with man flu. Just sitting in the home with the heating on was doing me no good, so i got the blade and went outside and started to clean it up.

This is it cleaned up and ready to go in the oven (when the wife is not about lol). Well it might stay like this for another year.
