Not quite right, Mal de mer is literally translated as Sea SicknessStay on deck in the fresh air as much as possible.
Keep your mind off being sick.
Remember that mal de mer is just French for I'm sick of my mother.
So what's French for lacking a sense of humour?Not quite right, Mal de mer is literally translated as Sea Sickness
Mer = Sea.
Sick of mother would be Mal de Mère
Mère = Mother
I think if you worry and think about getting queasy..you will, as you are priming yourself for it.Righty. Thanks for all of that. I am queasy already.

Le boche.So what's French for lacking a sense of humour?
Does not help, sea sickness is a physical (inner ear balance) thing and not a mental one.I think if you worry and think about getting queasy..you will, as you are priming yourself for it.
Put it out of your mind and instead get excited and aim to enjoy yourself, even if it gets choppy.
Oh, sorry, I was just trying to add a positive mental attitude to things as Tengu said she was feeling queezy just thinking about it..Does not help, sea sickness is a physical (inner ear balance) thing and not a mental one.
Just as you can´t heal a broken leg with positive thoughts.
I once went on a ship from Tallinn to Helsinki, an 80km long sea trip. Wave height was 5 meters. Easily sea sick as I get I prepared by taking pills.
Recommended dosage was 1 pill...I took 3. No problem at all, ship rolled heavily but I floated in my cloud and finally fell asleep and slept through the voyage.
Usually it's a boat under 100ft or under 500 tons. However all submarines are boats.75 ft?! at sea? That's a boat! (well, a Sunseeker yacht).
Have fun![]()
