great knife let down by tacky looking scales

Yeah, really bad, although for less than £17 you can't knock it. The blade on mine has a little nick out of the top (almost like a drilled hole) which I shouldn't think will effect the strength of the blade (hopefully!)

it should not affect it bud, but if it bothers you just take a tad of and make it more of a drop point you would noy even notice if you ground that little bit off.

Well it seems like everyone is booked up at the moment, so the scales and sheath will have to wait. Thanks for all the help though and let me know when you're all free again!
