Had a look at these, then thought `simple enough to run up on a sewing machine`

But what cloth should I use??

My brother works as a carpet fitter and used to think a carpet out of a toilet made a good poncho, as it already had a head hole cut into it (where its fitted around the bog). Only trouble is it smells of urine. :lmao:

I made a poncho out of a cotton and water proofed it - no rip stop and did snag a lot, but on nosie. If I was to do it again the 2 opptions for me would be - Triple point ceramic whitch only needs a warm tumble dry to reproof it or the new Event fabric by rab. Might have a look around for you as Im not to far from the DMM shop and get a good discount with being on a MRT.
