Maglite conversion kits?

If you "only want to light something up" why would you waste money on a upgrade it in the first place?.....

Better battery life. But I'd spend the money on a new one rather than an upgrade.

That said, I did do an upgrade on 0ne of my Mags (the 3 cell one I keep in the truck) It is noticeably less bright than the original incandescent bulb. But it does keep that same brightness for an extended period unlike the 0old bulb which caused the batteries to get that secondary (lower) brightness after a few days.

There are some absolutely fantastic upgrades and mods for the larger maglites, unfortunately i've not found one that's worth doing on the minimag
