Made myself a crooked knife.

The knife is made from an old carbon steel deck knife and has a white oak handle.

The handle is attached with epoxy resin and two 4mm brass pins the wrapped in jute and bees waxed.

I annealed the blade first then drilled the holes,heated it up in my forge and curved the blade then water quenched it.

I then used a blow torch to temper it to a light straw.

It has two cutting edges.

Nice knife! How big is it? I like the wrapping, it just looks more traditional that way, and I think it gives a better grip too.

I make all my knives now and as you have said i love carving things with my knives as its just more satisfying.

I like the look of that handle, lots of comfort built in there for genuine use.
