She has already come to collect it (ahead of what I said - 2 days of Bushcraft instruction came to nowt as everyone decided the weather was too wet! So I got on with the knife and sheath)and was well pleased.
The knife is a laminated balde Mora I picked up years ago (stripped of orange paint and oiled with teak and linseed oil then waxed with a beeswax and teak oil polish), the sheath, welt constructed, 3mm Veg tan sewn with linen thread, dyed EcoFlo Light Brown and treated with home made Dubbin (my own secret recipe - so secret that even I cannot recall the exact proportions of Lard, Bee's wax, oil and turps!)
The price label on the knife was £5.50.... so it really has been around a while!
I have one Ericsson of Mora blade of the same basic type left now... I used to be able to pick them up quite easily!
