hi all
just wanted to share a pouch i made today. its made from a shoulder strap of a single strap bag, you know the ones, companies seem to give out with everything

i wanted to make a pouch so i can carry it without it being knife like if that makes sense, its based it on a multitool pouch like this

i unpicked the strap which left me with a length of nylon material and webbing

which i cut into this, i run the edge of the material next to a flame to stop it from fraying, melting it, like you would with paracord

then i cut the webbing for the edging and flattened a piece for a belt loop

next i moved over to the sewing machine and ended up with this

it has a couple of faults, like the bottom left webbing isn't square, but im quite happy with it
this pouch was for a knife i made a white ago , its made from a file and has a double cord wrap, its my utility knife

its got a doubled bit of material stitched into the bottom, thats why the bottom left hand corner is a bit dodgy, 4 layers of material and webbing
the point of the blade isn't to pointy so i should be ok *gulp* :D
