Table and chairs - on long camps or "base camps" I make them on site, for shorter camps taking them in is luxury...
Lots of tools - axe, tomahawk, billhook, shovel, spoon knives, netting kit, stick weaving kit, saws (folding and bow saw) - I never know which I want to play with!
Camp grill and fittings - from Dutch Oven to toasting fork ... so heavy to carry in for short camps

Sorry can't only pick 3,
But any 3 from Kindle, Wool Blankets, Chair, Alcohol and a Hot Shower

I remember the only shower I have taken in the wild. A small waterfall of melting snow water on the Nasa Silver mountain.

Early summer -77?

Had I had a girl with me, I would have not been of any use for her for the rest of the trip.

I only take the bare essentials with me when I go camping... ;-)

I love the large decanter sat on the barrel next to the lamp. I love this aesthetic and the dual absurdity/necessity of having one when camping brings me joy.

Now that's proper camping. .. or is it glam ping. How do you fit it all it a rucksack???

I have a 63,000 litre pack with wheels on it.

By the time that I snuffed out all the lights, the sun would be up!
It's the port and starboard running lights on land(!) that get me.

Sometimes you need to check your direction when approaching dock.

Well in that case the colours should be the other way round, green [starboard] should be to the right side [starboard] when entering harbour [tent] :)

Sammi, she is fine for roughing it and being a roomy lass makes a fine pillow
Pocket rocket stove, for the "cant be arsed" ease of cooking and heating.
My super puff jacket, its weight is nothing but is very snoogly or maybe the cat she is double fluffy and lazy so a good mobile water bottle.

Three luxury items? Mmm.... a toughie when I think about it. Going on the premise that 'luxury' means 'an item that I take but is not essential..' I would have to say these:

GSI 8in fry pan.
My sleeping clothes (a thermal top and bottoms)
My possibles pouch (and everything in it..lol)

So I guess technically a lot more than three items. The things above individually weight next to nothing but collectively weight about 1.5kg. So there is some weight saving that could be made I suppose but ultralightist I am not.
