Surely an essential rather than a luxury? There is more than one way to keep warm whilst out

hip flask with Oban single malt , creative Zen mixture of movies , music, audio books, and more recently bobs (backpackinglites) podcasts. I only take this though if im on my own.

Another Luxury is (i think) my 3 yr old border collie shes good company and doesnt nag!!

I also sometimes bring a mini chess game!

Well BR, a huge thankyou for the brushes they arrived today :You_Rock_ although I had some explaining to do! (maybe you do to?) pmsl But hey for thinking out the box they'll do great! I thought it was just me that used a shaving brush...SWMBO laughs at me cos I have a brand new (well 3 or so years old, but never used) electric razor, yet still lather up and shave each day!

Guess I not the only old fashioned one then!
