Was fortunate enough to have a day off mid week this week, so i buggered off up my woods, made myself a loaf for lunch .

It's basically an Aussie damper, but with one tablespoon of powdered egg added to beef it up a little.

Cooked it in a couple of old mess tins i had knocking around, greased up the smaller of the two, placed the dough inside and put the larger tin over the top, placed the whole thing on some embers, put a few on top as well and left it until i smelt burning:rolleyes:

Very nice it was too:) , think the next one i make will have some mixed spice in it for a little additional flavour.
