Evening all,

I'm just wondering if anyone has first hand experience of this pack? And if anyone who has, found anything good or bad to comment about it?

I have had a Lowe Alpine pack before and found the quality to be good but am not sure about this model.

Thanks!

I just purchased one from Cotswold outdoors as there was a pretty good discount... I think a new model is on the way so £190 down to £139.

First impressions are good... very comfy, very easy to adjust the load and has a quality feel to it.

Its what i use, and ive seen one other person mention it on here before, though i forget their name.
I got it for about £190 from go outdoors, so you got a good saving.

Definitely does feel quite well made. Nice and comfy too once its adjusted properly. Fairly rubbed my hips raw till i sorted that.
So far ive not had to extend it out to 85 litres, as the 65litre section seems far bigger alone than my last 65 litre bag.

The stretch pockets would be better slightly bigger, as it fairly stretches mine to get my nalgene inside it when the packs full. Still fits, but i think it'll take its toll eventually on the stitching.

Did you get a detachable gps/phone holder with yours? Its supposed to come with the bag, and clips onto the shoulder strap or hip pocket i think, but i never got one. Says i should of on the labelling.

Oh well, maybe they've changed it.

I was actually cursing my rain cover as it was pretty useless, not long enough to cover from bottom to top.
I put it on for the first time in a downpour, so was in a bit of rush, and then proceeded to curse it all day untill i camped at night and realised i had it on sideways, and thats why it wasnt long enough

lol... not done it with a rain cover but done the same kind of thing with other items.

I like the idea of a pouch on the strap and have found a load of decent looking aftermarket ones on offer.
