Lovage

Hi everyone

I think I might be posting this in the wrong place, so apologies in advance if I am.

One of the women in the work wants to grow lovage, because she's heard one of the TV chefs going on about it, but she can't find any for sale. Does anyone know where she could get some lovage to grow, preferably near Edinburgh?

It's easy to grow from seed and plenty of seed companies sell seed, it'll take a year or so to get going. Round here, in Surrey, plenty of garden centres sell plants so I would have thought a large garden centre would sell it up there. Failing that, if she can find someone with a patch of it you can take a side shoot off the base of the plant in spring. I would think seed would be the best bet if she can't find a local plant.
