Hope it helps, it was a female friend of mine who lost her pal just before I did who showed it to me. It helped her a lot. I hope your wifes pal is OK it really does hit home.

Me too, I think if you own or have ever owned a dog it really hits home. It's a beautiful notion.

Tell me about it, it's brought it all backagain. Sitting here blubbing like a baby. Hell I didn't cry like this for human family. But then I loved my dog and he loved me. Human family Pffttt.

hahaha i only have to mention the rainbow bridge and Fionn bursts into tears. made her a notepad cover with our dog peaking over a rainbow and she started crying because of the poem was a great moment indeed! cheers i think i will sneakily print out the poem and put it up somewhere for her to find
