I had PM'd Tim, Sandsnakes and Hemdale all together on Friday about today. Haven't heard from hemdale at all.

hehe, I leant him a scout hammock. He's probably fallen out of it and bashed his head.

I'm not going to make tonight I'm afraid - I've got telephony problems - the guy who illegally rewired it has made a complete balls of it and I've got the engineer coming over to have a look before installing VDSL. So I need to strip it out and replace it tonight before anyone notices it's been illegally and badly rewired! At least I can make it a bit better!

Brilliant photo of brilliant evening. Only person missing in photo is Mesquite. Nice to meet Swallow again and great to meet hellobayo, Mesquite and Sandsnakes. shame Tim_n and Hemdale were not there but maybe next time. Can't wait.

The canvas one is about 20 litres so its more of a day pack, you could do an over nighter if you have big pockets and are using very little kit. Hardcore!

The green one well i have done a 3 dayer using one, so its faily versatile. :eek:

Straw pole. If i can organise a spot, who is for a night out? Idea would be keep it so that its our group members only, we would have to contribute some dosh to the owner to cover his insurance, but the rest would be free.

It would be at a site near the M40 and those with cars could arrange a pick up in london at suitable tube stations.
