out there
Hi all

Trying to track down where to buy lollipop sticks. Tried my local supermarket but no joy. Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Moko

best bet is a craft shop, you can sometimes get them in the cheap bookshops like The works

If you are prepared to make small sacrifices you could buy lollipops, eat them and get the sticks...You'd lose your teeth though.

Depends what you want them for, do you mean the type of thing macdonalds and some coffee shops have long thinnish ones for stirring coffee with, dunno where you could source them from though......... ;)

Coffee stirrers from fast-food outlets would do. My local stationers has packs of plain and coloured ones in the craft section for a quid. I could pick you up a pack if you want.

Try The Early Learning Centre - its a chain of store that sell kids toy, games, arts and crafts etc. We have definitely got some there in the past - although I do recall that they came in a variety of colours - but that is not to say that plain ones arn't sold there.

Probably not the season for it but how about a wander along the local beach/seafront - that and a bucket of soapy water should see you with dozens of the things.

Thanks everyone. I need them for this friday so I'll hit some crafty shops. The coffee sticks also sounds like a good idea. Thans again.

What are you using them for Moko? Track markers?

I always raid the local coffee shop for a handful every time i'm there - they have the wooden ones rather than the nasty little plastic ones. :)

Hi Marts,

Yep...I guess so. Its part of a tracking course kit list.

They get used to indicate left and right tracks as well.

OOOH - Bit late on this one, I hope you had a great time and learned loads ?

I was just gonna second the coffe shop suggestion - I blagged mine from Esso stations, those that claim to have a "costa" coffee shop in them have hundreds.

Cheers
