Loch Lomond camping rules come into force

I was just viewing a website and stumbled accross it.The new rules on camping along the eastern shore of Loch Lomond came into force yesterday (June 2nd). posted few days ago

We hate it, it goes against all our feelings of rightness, but the despoilation of the lochside was truly dreadful.

Within 50 metres of anywhere the numpties could park a car, they'd trash the area. Outwith that band there's virtually no damage.

We'll see how it goes.

We'll be heading back to the islands when Ned season is over, I'm going to take a paddle over and see if it's made much difference.
