loch leven fife

Planning doing the cycle route around the loch , but want to wild camp, i believe there is no camping allowed around the loch, can anyone recomend anywhere close by to pitch?
I know there is a camp site close but i would rather wild camp.

why can't you camp? as far as i know the only place you can't camp in Scotland is the east side of Loch lomond, which has a bye law!

Thanks for the reply haggis, I'm not to sure why I cant camp, but I contacted the loch and was told that there is no camping allowed, it could be because its a nature reserve or a sssi site.

Its a nature reserve. Lovely place though.
