Got a cheap hand axe from wilkos just to get me going, got it home and realised it was way too long,So I stripped off the rubber handle to expose the metal shaft and cut it down to a more manageable length glued the rubber handle back on bound the handle with thread for grip,re faced the blade plus dam good polish up and this is what I came up with. Never done this before and is also the first time I've owned an axe got to do some saving to get a sheath.let me know what you think guys n gals.

Mouse mat under the cardboard, printed side down. The mat will keep the profile while you use the toothpaste as a grinding compound on the cardboard. T cut is better. I'll try to find a vid.
