little owl

Couple of weekends ago we were demonstrating spooncarving at a local National Trust event, just behind the portaloos in a hollow in a tree was a little owl nest. Mum was home and I didn't want to disturb too much so just a couple of quick snaps. First to show where the nest is, they are normally low down.

saw a woodpecker today and as i walked in a 360 degree circle around the tree stump it was on it would keep walking around the stump to hide from me - lol!

saw a city fox too
