Limited new posts visible

Why is it when I log in and click on 'new posts' I only get maybe 20 or so with no additional pages?
If I log out and click 'new posts' I will get multiple pages of them.

I've had a look in the User CP but can't see anything obvious.

The only thing I can currently think of is the fact there aren't much new posts made. The fact you get more results by logging out and click for new posts ('todays posts'?) will generate all posts made of that day, opposed to clicking new posts when you visited the forum earlier that day ...

I hadn't registered that the difference was 'today's posts' when you are not logged in and 'new posts' when you are logged in.

Does anyone know if there is a way to have it as 'today's posts' even when logged in?
