Lighter Fluid

I have just found a zippo lighter in my house and was wondering if there is an alternative to lighter fluid .You know using something from around the house, mostly because i have no lighter fluid and can't be bothered right now to go to the shop and buy some thanks.

Best sticking with the proper fuel Othello.

Unleaded petrol. Works but stinks
Meths Works, evaporates quick and flame is invisible (dangerous)
Coleman fuel works..Splutters a lot

actual petrol is best ovoided too highly flammable. zippo brand lighter fuel is "naptha"

perhaps meths or white spirit would be ok.

buy the proper stuff, if you don't like the lighter, you can use it for stain removal.

Cheers i decided it was safer to just move and buy some of the proper stuff thanks anyway .
