Lidl selling folding saw £2.79 from 3/3/16.

Anyone tried the bowsaw they are doing? After something cheap to leave in the trailer we take with the campervan. As long as it's pretty sturdy I guess the blade can change easily enough...

I got the bowsaw three or four years ago just for use around the garden, probably been used 100 times but not for anything particularly dramatic....it's not failed yet though and does what it's supposed to do. I think it came with a spare blade but so far I have not needed to use that.

FYI the Osprey MkIV single magazine (rifle) pouches make a nice drop in holster for a belt kit with enough velcro left over to securely close the pouch when the saw is not in use.

I got a Lidl folding saw today - price is actually £2.99 (I'm pretty sure it said £2.79 on the telly) but can't grumble with the quality at that price.

On the other hand if the Lap1ander for £10 inc p&p on @mazon is legit, then that really is a bargain!
