Lid lifting irons............

Since I bought myself a Dutch oven recently I thought I'd have a go at making a lid lifter for it.

I ended up making two..........

I got a bit carried away with the second one and made a twisty handle on it........

Both were made from steel reinforcing rods the cross piece were welded on and their painted with B-B-Q paint.

Hopefully get to try them this weekend

Nice job. Only problem with rebar is it flex's a lot, so don't lever with it
