Hi everyone, a friend of mine has had all her Leylandii chopped down recently. She has kept a few logs to stack in her garden to attract wildlife, a sort of hidey hole for certain creatures.
My question is: Are Leylandii poisonous or detrimental in any way for wildlife?
If anyone knows we would be appreciative so we know we aren't harming any wildlife.
Thanks
Mack13:)

No, they're safe. They're actually excellent timber. It carves well too, very white and plain coloured though, but that's not a bad thing in it's way.

cheers,
Toddy

That's great news, thank you every one for replying. My friend will be very happy that they are wildlife friendly. Hmm good for carving eh Toddy? May have to scrounge a few bits and try..
Thanks again. :D
