Leylandii

Hi everyone, a friend of mine has had all her Leylandii chopped down recently. She has kept a few logs to stack in her garden to attract wildlife, a sort of hidey hole for certain creatures.
My question is: Are Leylandii poisonous or detrimental in any way for wildlife?
If anyone knows we would be appreciative so we know we aren't harming any wildlife.

No, they're safe. They're actually excellent timber. It carves well too, very white and plain coloured though, but that's not a bad thing in it's way.

Its sap can cause mild reactions but nothing serious.

No, it's fine to leave as an Eco stack We are getting asked to leave small Eco stacks by more and more clients that we are felling for
