I bought one of these in a cotswold outdoor sale about 2 years ago for £35 which at the time I thought was still a ludicous ammount of cash for a torch, but I have to say I really love it. The range is not what you'd expect when campared to a maglite, but then this is smaller and lighter. Close up, the light quality is fantastic - no yellow, no dark spot in the middle of the light pattern (unlike a mag) and best of all, the colour definition is amazing, so map reading etc is easy. I would say for 90% of what you need a torch for (ie finding stuff in your tent / shelter and finding your way from place to place in the dark), it's unbeatable. If you need something with a long range beam, buy a maglite, but for short range high definition light that's bombproof, small and light, this is hard to beat. The batteries and wierd and expensive, but do last ages and give a lot of light for the weight. If you shop online for them you can get them a LOT cheaper than in camera shops etc.

I'd snap them up if I were you.
