Hello

I am doing a bit of leatherwork and need to know what those little brass ball closure attachments are called. I have seen them on quiet a few possibles bags with a leather tab fitted over them to hold the bag shut.
Are they pressed into the leather or sewn on ?

Are these what you mean? http://www.sbearstradingpost.com/leather_hardware.html scroll down to Sam Brown studs if so they are two part which suggests they are riveted in not sewn.

You can get them from LePrevo, yes they are two part, but you can see the thread on them in the picture. They come in a number of sizes either Nickel Plated or Gilt, size wise it may be best to get in touch with them to find out which would be best for the leather you are working on.

Also be aware there is a minimum order value of £10.
