Ayup all,

Does anyone have one of these? If so i would like to hear from you.
I know Siberian Fury has a similar one that he reviewed lately but i have noticed that there a few QC things that took me back a little and some other stuff i would not have expected.
I know i am possibly being a bit picky but here are a few things i noticed.
The grind on the knife blade is all over the place, one side is way higher than the other. Whilst i can sort it out with a stone i dont really expect too after paying the best part of 60 notes for a small pocket tool.
The scissors are no where near as sharp, robust or well fitted as the scissors on a gerber.
One side of the plier arm is thicker than the other which isnt a fault as such but a design floor.
The lanyard hole is good for any cordage around the thickness of cotton.
The can opener has no sharp edge at all. I have not tried it yet but its going to be hard work.

The only plus points so far are that the pliers seem pretty solid and its EDC legal. Not a lot for the money.

Ayone else found this with this model or leathermans in general? this being my first and probably last.

I recently got one from the states and love it. It came in at about 40 quid after import fees (although the exchange was marginally better then).

The grinds are fine on my blade and I've no complaints about the scissors. The pliers are also symmetrical.

The can opener works ok but was designed to work as an assist on the corkscrew models and isn't as good as the usual Leatherman one. It's quite good as a bottle opener being thin but feels a little flimsy.

The flat screw drives are nail breakers to open though.

Yours sounds a somewhat poor example in comparison - have you thought of returning it - they're supposed to be pretty good on things like that.
