Afternoon All
spent this afternoon sharpening my blades prior to going out this weeked adn looking at the sheaths got me wondering how would i go about keeping them nice and tidy looking.
is it a case of just using shoe polish on them or should i get something else?
i know in the extras of bushcraft mr mears uses standard polish on his axe mask is that the best approach?

Polish or boot wax as a regular
Saddle soap, now and then but not too often or they will soften up.
Thats my habit...

I use either shoe polish if I want it nice and shiny or for a more 'satin' effect I use mink oil - its not quite matt not quite shiny...

I use mink oil for satiny, and carnauba cream for shiny, rarely do shiny nowadays

Good old boot polish for me but that's only because we have it in the house anyway.

i just use neutral kiwi boot polish
